UB H.O.M.E. PROGRAM
(Home Ownership Made Easy)
is a hybrid grant + loan purchase-assistance program for full- and part-time UB faculty and staff who are looking to purchase a one- or two-family home near the University’s South Campus.

Up to $7,500 in down-payment and closing cost assistance is available, dependent on the home’s location within the program’s boundaries.
 

Through the generosity of the UB Foundation, a portion of this special financing is deferred and forgiven after 5 years of continuous owner-occupancy — never to be repaid. The remaining portion, a WSNHS deferred-payment loan with 0% interest, up to $2,500 (+ closing costs and recording fees) is due in full upon sale or transfer of the property. No monthly payments are required at any time.

you do not need to be a first-time homebuyer to participate. Even better, this program carries no household income restrictions!
